Travel to the highlands of Peru and experience one of the most spiritual places in the world: Machu Picchu. Your journey will be filled with comfortable places to stay, Shamanic conversations, lovely food, water blessings at an old Inca spring, beautiful natural vistas, and reflections while sitting on a mountain top. You will learn about the culture, food, and history as we try to image what these things mean for us.
A relaxed pace with four full days in the Sacred Valley (in a charming hotel!) and three days in a historic hotel in the centre of Cusco, allows time to immerse yourself in the power of place. With two full days in Machu Picchu, there will be ample time to freely climb the steps and marvel at the various archeological structures that are so exquisitely embedded in the surrounding landscape. Wayne and our exceptional Andean guide Fredy will assist you in connecting with this hallowed ground and its rich tapestry of tales and traditions.
On each day of our journey, we will experience the history and culture of Peru. There will be "off time" to sit and think, rest or visit places of interest. We gain special access to places at quiet times to create moments of meditation and reflection while hoping to let go of normal "busyness".
Looking for deeper connections in your travels? A more profound perspective helps us learn more about the journey we are on, the people and places we see, as well as the internal journeys we take in each of our lives.
